A deep clean leaves a car clean. It does not do anything about the engine bay, the windscreen in November rain, the brake dust that welds itself to wheel faces within a fortnight, or the leather on the bolster you slide across twice a day.
The Platinum Executive Detail is the full Deep Clean Package — all eighteen stages, inside and out — followed by five stages that protect the parts of a car that get dirty fastest. It is a full day on one vehicle.
Handing a car over for a full day is a lot to ask on trust. Before you do, look at the cars that have had it and what their owners said afterwards.
Everything else on a car gets protected.
Paint is not the only surface that degrades. These five stages cover the ones that are usually left bare.
Engine bay detail
Degreased, cleaned and dressed. It is the first thing a serious buyer opens and the last thing most owners clean.
Windscreen coating — 12 months
Gtechniq G1 Clear Vision on the windscreen. Rain beads and clears at speed, and night glare from wipers and oncoming lights drops noticeably.
Wheel faces sealed
Six to eight months of protection on the faces. Brake dust sits on the sealant instead of baking onto the lacquer, so the wheels rinse clean rather than needing scrubbing.
Leather protective coating
UV and abrasion protection on the leather. The driver's bolster and the wheel wear first because they take the most contact — this is the surface that decides how old an interior looks.
Exhaust tips ceramic coated
Polished, then coated. Carbon has something to sit on other than bare metal, so the tips wipe clean instead of needing abrasive work each time.
A day is a long time to give one car.
Which is the point. This is the package for the four situations where a car earns a full day rather than an afternoon.
Going to sale
Engine bay, shuts, glass and wheels all presented. The areas a buyer checks to decide whether the service history is telling the truth.
Before a season
A car coming out of storage, or going into a summer of use, with the surfaces that suffer most already protected.
The daily you keep
Not a car being sold — a car being kept. Leather coated, wheels sealed, glass treated, then maintained from there.
Protection without correction
Paint in good order that needs protecting rather than machining. If it needs correction, we will tell you that instead.
